The New England Tour

BEST OF THE FEST

The Middlebury New Filmmakers Festival is strongly committed to raising the profile of its winning filmmakers after the annual August event concludes. The New England Tour is the direct fulfillment of this commitment. This coming March and April, our six VTeddy Award winning films from 2016 will tour together throughout New England, appearing at great venues across the region. We thoroughly enjoyed bringing our 2015 winners to appreciative audiences last spring and we met many wonderful people along the way. We’re absolutely looking forward to the 2017 New England Tour featuring this year’s winners.

THE FILMMAKERS AND THE TOUR

MNFF encourages its winning filmmakers to attend as many Tour screenings as they can and conduct Q&A sessions with discerning regional audiences. We compensate our winning filmmakers for the Tour screenings, regardless of whether they attend the events. We believe wholeheartedly in the value of the New England Tour to our filmmakers and fully expect it will grow in visibility and importance in the years ahead. And MNFF thanks its outstanding venue partners for their enthusiastic support as the Tour rolls out for the second time across New England.
