The Middlebury New Filmmakers Festival returns August 24-28 with its 8th Annual edition.
Support our efforts to showcase the great work of first and second time filmmakers from around the world, the emerging voices of independent filmmaking.
Rebuilding a Strong Financial Foundation
During the last 30 months, as the challenges to stay relevant and connected mounted, MNFF stepped up and presented MNFF6: ONLINE, a successful virtual Festival that we truly enjoyed creating for our audiences around the world. Next came Split/Screen, the monthly multi-film online series that brought you a wide variety of excellent films to sample and savor. in the summer of 2021, as the pandemic seemingly receded here in Vermont, we presented outdoor screenings of Martin Scorsese classics under a tent, as we all began to socialize once more around film. And, then our in-person 7th Annual Middlebury New Filmmakers Festival became a resounding success, following a strict set of health and safety protocols and offering a wide array of terrific films and outdoor social events.
Now, we are preparing to deliver a week of Meryl Streep classics in early August and our 8th Annual MNFF, August 24-28, again a five day in-person event and again offering an enormous number of choices and touchpoints for our audiences to sample.
All of this programming, of course, requires financial support, now more than ever. Like many non-profit organizations, we truly count on your generosity, as we emerge steadily from the uncertainties of the last two and a half years and actively rebuild. We understand that many other incredibly worthy non-profits have significant needs. But, we truly hope you’ll join our MNFF Circle of Friends and help us fashion a strong and enduring financial foundation for MNFF and all the other initiatives we undertake. Thank you so much!
