The MNFF Travel Fund is getting close to its annual goal of $10,000, raised to help filmmakers offset the crazy cost of round trip airfare to and from Patrick Leahy Burlington International Airport. Last year, the Fund made it possible for an additional 22 filmmakers, who came from distant points of departure, to attend the Fest. This year, we have already offered travel assistance to 15 filmmakers with many more to come. The MNFF Travel Fund is a true game changer and we all recognize the positive impact that visiting filmmakers have.
So, as of today, we are just $550 shy of matching the lovely $1,500 matching grant that was generously offered to MNFF by Shawn Ryan [Middlebury College ’88] and his wife Cathy Cahlin Ryan. Please help us reach the finish line this week. More filmmakers makes a better Festival. Whether it’s $100 or $250, your donation will help us reach the match level.
