MNFF8: Wed-Sun, August 24-28, 2022
All Attendees Must Be Fully Vaccinated. Masks Are Optional At Indoor Screening Venues, But Encouraged.
For Your Health and Safety
After much discussion and consideration, MNFF8 will require that all attendees, including visiting filmmakers, be vaccinated and show proof of their COVID vaccination when they first pick up their passes at the Town Hall Theater box office or come to the Opening Night screening or first show up at a film with an advance purchase ticket or buy a walk-up ticket at the door for the first time. At that point, upon showing proof of vaccination, attendees will be given a customized MNFF8 wristband that can be worn throughout the Festival, and subsequently avoid any further need to display vaccination proof. Just show the wristband. Vaccination proof will at a minimum be evidence of two prior vaccine shots.
We regret any inconvenience to people who will not be able to join us as a result of our policy. We hope to see you next year.
All MNFF indoor venues have announced a Mask Optional policy as of this time, but MNFF encourages the wearing of masks to promote a safer environment.
Thank you all for understanding as we continue to navigate these uncertain times.
