SYNOPSIS
Amy Plambeck was 14 when she created Connections. Amy writes: “The connection between capitalism and racism isn’t always made obvious, and by ignoring this connection we continue to drive these issues deeper into the fabric of our society.” Amy drew and coupled her animation with a powerful segment of an interview with Yusef Shakur, while on the Conversations From the Open Road trip to Detroit in July, 2014.
