SYNOPSIS
The Jacob Burns Film Center (JBFC), a prestigious film culture and educational organization based in Pleasantville, New York, has entered into a multi-year partnership with the Middlebury New Filmmakers Festival to advance the work of emerging voices in independent filmmaking. MNFF this year presents the first fruits of the JBFC’s Creative Culture program, designed to support the work of new filmmakers. The filmmakers represented at this screening are: Lucy Adams, Emily Ann Hoffman, Reweina Tessema, Stefaniya Vey, Leah Galant, Kervin Marseille and Alex Gonzalez.

If not, be sure to check out a seven-minute VR film by Alex Gonzalez, screening as a separate part of the Jacob Burns Film Center’s Creative Culture program on Saturday, August 26 and Sunday, August 27 from 2-4p at the Marquis Theater Cafe.  The VR Experience is offered on a first-come, first-see basis and spots are limited. Please email us to reserve.
