SYNOPSIS
Aidan Powell created This is Home when he was 15, on the Conversations From the Open Road trip to Appalachia. Aidan was inspired by his personal connection to Vermont’s Green Mountains. Thus, it was especially poignant to witness the practice of mountaintop removal currently devastating the Appalachian Mountains. Aidan was inspired by the words and photography of Paul Corbit Brown and his ambition to protect the landscape his family has been rooted in for generations.
