Voice-of-America_-Lowell-Thomas-and-the-Rise-of-Broadcasting

SYNOPSIS
In the 1930s, as America’s foremost newscaster both in newsreels and on the radio, Lowell Thomas set the standard for reliable, non-partisan broadcast news. Today, as the profusion of alternative digital sources is changing that network dominated universe and the air rings with charges of “fake news”, this film examines, through the life of Lowell Thomas, the evolution and value of broadcast journalism.
