SYNOPSIS
Experience forty days canoe tripping in the deepest Canadian wilderness with twelve young women, nine of whom are teenagers. Understand the significance of a counter-cultural summer spent exploring their physical surroundings and inner selves free from mainstream society’s expectations. And ask this question: Can one of the oldest operating summer camps in North America, established over a century ago to promote manliness and “roughing it in the woods,” still be relevant for teenage girls today?
