Middlebury, Vermont—Woodchuck Hard Cider is proud to announce its sponsorship of the inaugural Middlebury New Filmmakers Festival (MNFF), set for August 27-30, 2015, in Middlebury, Vermont. The Middlebury New Filmmakers Festival was created to support, promote and exhibit the dynamic and imaginative efforts of new filmmakers. This partnership unites the Festival’s exclusive emphasis on first and second time filmmakers with Woodchuck’s core values of innovation and creativity.
“We are absolutely delighted to have Woodchuck onboard as our presenting sponsor for this first edition of the Middlebury New Filmmakers Festival,” Lloyd Komesar, festival producer, said. “This exciting collaboration gives the festival a level of visibility that is incredibly valuable.”
“Woodchuck Hard Cider is honored to support this film festival and encouraged that Middlebury has been selected as the home base for the festival,” Bridget Blacklock, marketing director of VT Hard Cider Company, said. “Woodchuck is deeply committed to our Middlebury community, as well as the ingenuity and innovation that are at the core of everything we do. We are proud to support these budding filmmakers as they share their own creative pursuits.”
MNFF has recently launched its website at www.middfilmfest.org and, beginning January 15th, filmmakers will be able to submit their films through the Withoutabox platform at www.withoutabox.com.
“We appreciate the confidence that this outstanding Vermont company is showing in our efforts to create a truly distinctive Festival for new filmmakers and the filmgoers who support them,” Komesar said.
